You may think you know exactly what you want in a yard design, but our experience shows us that together we can build you an environment that exceeds your dreams.

We have been building outdoor dreams for over 30 years. We built the Seattle Home Show Feature Garden for over 25 years and built Ken Nesland Landscaping into a major Seattle landscaper. We have seen it and we have done it, probably more than any other company in the Puget Sound.

We retained Ken Nesland Landscaping to replace gravel and asphalt walkways with pavers at our home and to construct stairs and a landing leading into our family room. Ken made recommendations that were perfect for the project. He was dependable, trustworthy and honest. Ken did our back yard and one side of our yard. It looks fantastic. He was quick to respond when we reached out about an estimate. He came over and discussed what we were looking for in a yard. We weren't entirely sure what we wanted, but he had some great ideas to tailor to our family and our needs. Before starting he provided us with a sketch, photos of plants to be used, and a walk-through of our yard. It's much more useable now and we really enjoy spending time in the yard. We look forward to working with him again in the future for the rest of our yard!

I called Ken my “landscape therapist.” I was pretty stressed out with the whole remodel and landscape project that I needed someone to listen to what type of garden I wanted, not what the landscaper thought I should do. Ken listened, made suggestions, gave me options and then went to work. His crew was unbelievable. They worked hard and long finishing in two weeks. I love my garden. I got the fountain I wanted, repurposing my old fountain. I got my rose garden, flowers, ground cover and seasonal colors that I wanted. His team also discovered water issues that we had corrected and adjusted my sprinkler system to accommodate the new planting areas. I highly recommend Nesland Landscaping. Ken does come with a price, but there were no surprises, everything was up front, no hidden extra costs. Thank you Ken.

Finally, we were able to complete our landscaping project in our front yard. After many years of living with a below-average landscaped yard Ken Nesland Landscaping was able to help us select plants that would complement our gardening space and complete our home adding color and texture.

We are very excited to use our newly landscaped backyard. Ken Nesland and his crew did an outstanding job of transforming our barren back lawn into our own personal oasis.
